Forgiveness and Self Forgiveness Meditation

Relax, close your eyes after read Create a clear picture in your imagination: you are standing on a quiet and sunny sea coast and looking into the distance, where the blue transparent waves merge with the clear sky.

Take a deep breath and imagine that all the grievances that have accumulated inside you have huddled into a large and heavy lump in your throat, “drowning out” the feelings of joy, pleasure, and a taste for life.

Now try to imagine a lump of your grievances in the form of a tiny crying child. Mentally address this baby; “stroke” him; please calm down and stop crying. Say that the world is not at all as cruel and hostile as it seems to him; that you won’t hurt him anymore; that you let him go, forgiving all the bad things to yourself and others. Promise that now you will begin a new life in which there will be no place for bitter experiences.

Take a few more deep breaths and exhalations, filling your lungs with the life-giving air of calm and harmony, and at the same time getting rid of the accumulated negativity. Smile at the World, keeping in yourself a new feeling of purification and forgiveness.
